WINCHESTER CHAMBER
MUSIC FESTIVAL
Winchester's very own festival of chamber music and song presented by the London Bridge Ensemble.
The London Bridge Ensemble is now firmly established on the chamber music scene, with regular engagements at many of the UK's leading concert venues. A CD of works by Frank Bridge was released in spring 2008 on the Dutton label and received enthusiastic reviews including recommendations by Gramophone.
The Ensemble's name represents a special ability to bring together different musical genres and styles from the fields of both chamber music and song, as illustrated at the Festival programme. It also reflects an admiration for English music of the early twentieth century, which has always been a significant element in the Ensemble's repertoire.
In 2012 the festival will celebrate it's 5th anniversary. Each year habanero have been responsible for designing and producing all the promotional materials for the event - comprising all advertising literature, web banners and adverts. The design has evolved each year and grown in line with the event.
We have also been involved in other related projects, including a design for The Olivier Ensemble (founded in 2003 by four of the country's leading chamber musicians) and the Leopold String Trio, who recently won the Chamber Music category at the Royal Philharmonic Society Awards and was the winner of a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award.
